[NMCycling] Bike just stolen from Frontier

You can report the stolen bike online, which is generally sufficient for insurance.
When they stole my bike last year, they tried once to cut the cable I had it locked with and couldn't. I was in the same place a few weeks later, and they cut the chain  I had locked my U-lock to.
Tell Gary I feel for him!

No. Although the bike was parked just onthe other side of the window, what with the plants on the window sill, constant traffic, both foot and vehicle, when we looked again, it wasgone.

We talked to the Frontier manager, andalthough he said they have video, he sounded like there wasn't muchhope for enough resolution to be of use.

Gary was trying to find a place to file areport, the substation on Girard is closed now and all he was able toget via phone was a recording. I'll update if I hear anythingelse.

FWIW, he was using a standard cable, butit was cut clean and fast. The thought was that being the bikes beingright there we'd be able to see anything untoward. There were threeof us together and none of us saw the thief.

On top of everything he was just ready toleave on a multi-day bikepacking trip.

Be vigilant.
