Hi Ana,

GFNY Santa Fe is a great event for a climber, this race will be the GFNY North American Championships and will be on June 23, 2019. The long route finishes with a climb to the Ski Santa Fe, 14.8 miles with 3, 700' of climbing, the total route is 82 miles with 7,500' of climbing (there is a 56 mile route with 3,400' of climbing for those who aren't pure climbers). We hope to see you there, check out the details at:

Subject: [NMCycling] good climbing road races on the calendar? Looking for suggestions

Dear all,
It seems that one of my favorite races, the Bill McClain Sandia crest race is not being held this year.
Other than the upcoming Gila (I'm already registered and crazy) and Santa Fe Hill Climb can you recommend good climbing races? I am willing to travel to Arizona and Colorado and in June/July/August California.
I am a "pure climber", who does particularly well on long...long....climbs.
My calendar has been replete with flats, flats flats...(terrain not tires).and I feel the need to reward myself with some more fun on courses more suited towards my strengths.
I am a Cat4, looking to get enough points to cat up to 3 by end of season, so there is some added motivation there too.

Thanks!

Ana
