That is at least the second time a car has crashed off I40 westbound onto
that part of the path.  Highly likely that there have been others. If the
attention of the City risk assessment folks could be obtained, that might
be the most direct way to get this addressed.  Otherwise, the concern could
be brought to the The Greater Albuquerque Active Transportation Committee
(GAATC) and progress through the usual infrastructure change process which
typically takes years.

We could use a petition to gather support for a more timely change to the
situation.  I'll do that if there is interest.
