Some news for the dirt interested.

First there will be an informal MTB race at Placitas on this Sunday 2/8/26.

I am working with Doghouse Racing to do three Tuesday MTB races at Balloon Fiesta Park using the new bike park (we will go down where Fiesta Cross went up)  and some of the adjoining terrain.  Park in the normal TNC (NASCAR not Tweety Bird)  spot and the start will be just on the other side of the fence.  It is nice STXC (or almost XCO at 3.75k/2.3mi) course with several short climbs.  There will be an A and a B loop and the B loop will be beginner friendly.

The Bosque MTB Stage race is back with a Saturday MTB circuit north of Central on the westside and a Sunday MTB Circuit between of Rio Bravo and Cesar Chaves on the eastside.  Saturday's circuit has a little climbing up the riverside escarpment.  Info will be up soon at https://bcdracing.com/
