Hey all,

Checking in with the mountain bike and gravel crowd.
Taos Ski Valley is looking to possibly put on a stage style event.
Idea
Saturday- have a hill climb, approx 2.5 miles/1000ft. In the morning.
Followed by a ripping downhill. Have the riders chair lifted to the top of
chair 4. Then race down the groomed downhill trail linking into some of the
roads, then ending up on the lower jump track at the bottom of chair 1
around  5+ miles.
Sunday - an around the ski valley circuit race approx 5 mile laps. 600-800
ft per lap.
Mountain bike and gravel bike race together but are separated for results.
Bottom of the course is at 9200 ft
Top is around 11,000ft.
There was several years of mountain bike racing up in TSV years ago. It was
epic and intense. This will be as epic if not as intense.
There was also a great high altitude road stage race. The crit was raced
through the parking lots and around the village.
