[NMCycling] Hillsboro road race

Good Monday morning to all of the bike racers on the New Mexico bike racers
list.

On the good news side, the volunteer fire department coordinator in
Hillsboro confirmed that the roads are in good shape and none of the
bridges were washed out during the recent rainstorms.

We are both hopeful that this next set of weather will pass through quickly
and everything should be good to go for Saturday morning, October 3rd.

Race registration ends on Thursday night. That registration is important
because the timing and planning for all the timing has to be done by Friday
afternoon so that Saturday morning goes off smoothly. There is no race day
registration so please go online and register.

We look forward to another great race and seeing you on Saturday.

If you plan to stick around and do the fondo on Sunday the 4th, there are
some places to stay in the Hillsboro area and there's also some camping
spaces in the center part of town.

If you prefer to stay in a bigger place than Truth or Consequences is about
45 minutes away.
