This year’s Pajarito Trail Fest (This Saturday) will include a mountain bike stage race if there’s enough interest.

It’s being put on by Clay Mosely and the UNM Ski Team.

The plan is a multi-discipline race with an XC stage that would include Lower Aspenola and two enduro type stages; Aspenola and Aspen for Trouble/Half Aspen to level the playing field.

Hogan and Dante have been working on these trails and would like to show them off here.

However

They need at least 20-25 people to sign up to make this happen. If they don’t have this number by tomorrow it will be cancelled.

I know this is short notice but hey, everyone left town last weekend and should be ready to ride here on Saturday.

Even if you’re not a racer this should be a very fun event. Let’s do what we can to support this.
