Same goes for the 5' to pass bill, HB192.

I'm not that free to go to Santa Fe to speak on behalf of these bills, so looking for other cyclists to join with members of NMMRO (New Mexico Motorcycle Rights Organization) at the various committee meetings where the bill will be considered.

There is one going on right now, Room 317, Consumer & Public Affairs committee. If anyone is at the Roundhouse, please stop in! Annette and Ray are there now.

Otherwise, please email me back and I'll get you in the loop before the next committee meeting.

For everyone else who cares about improving the safety of all kinds of road users, cyclists, pedestrians, motorcyclists and the like, please contact your NM Senator and Representative to let them know you support this legislation. There is so much going on in this session that if we don't call their attention to these bills, they won't stand out at all.
