The Second Annual Quartz Crusher MTB Race follows historic logging and mining roads of Cibola National Forest. While our race course is primarily two track with a little bit of singletrack peppered in, the event will eventually transfer over to the Quartz Hill trail network. The Zuni Mountain Trails Project will create 30 miles of new single track trail in the East Zuni Mountains, and is expected to break ground in the summer of 2019!

The Quartz Crusher MTB race is a fundraiser for the Cibola Trail Alliance. All proceeds from the event allow the CTA to advocate for, develop and maintain multi-use trails in the Cibola County area.

The Beginner and Intermediate routes are fast, flowy and very rewarding. There will be opportunities to view historic mining camps along the way for those seeking a more recreational experience.

The Advanced route includes a few of the more technical sections and more elevation gain.

We understand that not everyone is here to compete and we respect that. There will be food and refreshments available at the staging area as well as activities for the kiddos.

Entry Fee: $50.00
