Dr Sean Mazer, NM Heart Institute. An athlete and he knows his stuff. He is the Dr I used for my pacemaker._______________________________________________Sent from my iPhoneI would recommend Harvey White in ABQ. I have seen him for these issues and he is pretty familiar with LVH, HOCM, AFIB in athletes, etc. Plus, his is the only cardiology practice in the state focused on wellness and prevention. Great guy. I have known him for 30 years and he knows his stuff.Having said that, there are no sports cardiologists in NM. Bruce Andrea in Durango is a cardiologist who works with elite athletes and is pretty close to being one. Otherwise, Boulder is a good bet.On Oct 10, 2019, at 5:06 PM, Howard Snell via Bike-racers <bike-racers@mailman.swcp.com> wrote:Sorry about confused subject line in previous post._______________________________________________
Colleagues:
I'd like to contact a cardiologist in Albuquerque or Santa Fe familiar with enlarged right ventricles and associated problems in endurance athletes. It appears that too many years of chasing (but not catching) Lyle A. up hills, Frank P. across the flats, Charlie D. everywhere and Mike G. in little circles took their toll.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Howard Snell
