Bike Racers:
Your NMBRA, New Mexico Bicycle Racing Association, will be holding elections for the positions listed below. You are encouraged to apply if one of the posts is of your interest by emailing me directly and your name will be placed in the ballot. NMBRA will hold its last 2019 meeting on December 4th, in which it will gather all the candidate's names and places in the poll for the election to take place in the second week of December. One representative per club, in current good standing with USAC, will vote. All jobs will require a minimum of 2 hours every other month to attend meetings and other tasks assigned. The NMBRA is in good financial standing, and any additional information about the status of the association can be found by visiting NMBRA.org.
One topic of interest for 2020 is the creation of NICA league in New Mexico. More information about NICA here https://www.nationalmtb.org/about-2, which is making great strides in introducing kids to the sport of Mt Biking.
