Happy Monday, All!


First, thank you to everyone who came to March-A-Thon on Saturday. We raised more than $4,000 and the kids did an excellent job. That's another record breaking year!


As many of you got to see our amazing band shirts this Saturday, I'd like to remind you that we are going to put in a separate order for parents/siblings/etc. So, if you would like us to order you your own neon band shirt please submit your information in this link before Wednesday. Thanks!

Also, there are a few things that have come up recently that are not in the original calendar that we need to add:


Saturday, September 1st: Car wash @ Jim's Automotive

      This is an optional event, but students who come help will share the profits applied to band fees.


Saturday, September 8th: National Hispanic Cultural Center- Gig.

      We have been asked to play a black-tie event at the NHCC. We will need students in uniform and need carpooling to and from the event. They would like us to play from 5:30 to 6:45pm. We will plan on leaving from school at 4:45 and will hope to return by 7:15pm.


September 28th and October 11th, Milne Rehearsals 3-5

      We will need carpooling to both of these events. We will coordinate the specifics at our next booster meeting.


Reminder- BACKGROUND CHECKS

If you are ever able to help us carpool students to and from events (which we have a few of those coming up) we need every driver to have a background check on file with APS.
