Hello Hornet Family!

I hope you are all getting along well as we quickly dive into another fun-filled year of band. We have quite a bit coming up this week, so I wanted to send out a quick run-down of what to expect:

Tuesday Rehearsals: Starting today, every Tuesday we will be holding a rehearsal from 5:30 to 7:30pm at the PAC until the end of marching season.

Wednesday Flyering: If anyone is available, we will need around 12 people to help flyer for our March-a-Thon parade this weekend. We'll meet at the band room after school.

First Football Game: This Thursday! Report time for students is 4:45p and the PAC. Students are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes to wear under their uniforms (like basketball shorts, yoga pants, or pjs) and make sure to bring long black socks to wear with marching shoes. The game is at Milne at 7 against Rio Grande

March-a-Thon: This Saturday! Attached you will find the informational sheet that was passed out to students last week. We will be serving breakfast at 8:30, warm up is at 9, and step-off is at 9:30. We will be done parading around 12 where we will serve lunch. Feel free to come out and support us! Highland colors are highly encouraged.

T-shirts: I have attached a file showing off our very bright band t-shirts this year! If your family would like to support the band and show some Hornet Band spirit, get yourself one!  Each shirt will be $10 or $13 for XXL and larger. If you would like to order yours please follow the link below and fill the form out before Wednesday, August 29th. We'll collect the money when we pass the shirts out. (Please note, band students already have their own shirts.)
