I hope this email finds all of you well. We have a number of band events coming up:
Our Winter Fundraiser started today. Packets were passed out in class; you can find a rough PDF attached for you to peruse. All students are expected to sell at least one item. If students sell 2 items they will not need to pay for their band shirts
this year. If students are requesting a scholarship for their band fees, they are expected to sell at least five items. Materials will be picked up the Monday and Tuesday after Thanksgiving break.
The Uptown Jazz Concert with Eldorado, Albuquerque High, and Highland jazz bands will take place tomorrow at 6pm in the PAC. All are encouraged to join!
The Twinkle Light Parade will take place on Saturday, December 7th. All students are encouraged to dress warmly and bring extra lights for the parade. We will feed the band around 3:15-3:30pm. More information from the boosters about carpool needs
will be coming out as well.
The basket ball pep band schedule is out. You can find our schedule below. This information was also passed out in class and can be found on the band website.
Our Winter Concert is scheduled for Thursday, December 12th starting at 5:30pm in the Highland Cafeteria. Woodwinds are asked to bring a dessert and brass and percussion are asked to bring a beverage to share. Come out and support our cluster bands!
