Hello fellow League members-

 

This is to remind you about the Zoom meeting on Thursday (July 11) of the
League of Women Voters of Central New Mexico. We will be discussing the
LWVUS 2020 conventions. For those who want to review exactly what was voted
on, I've included a link with the details.

Our delegates to the convention will be discussing the program that was
approved at the convention, changes to the bylaws and information about some
of the interesting caucuses. Here is the information for the meeting. For
the first part of the meeting, everyone but the speaker will be on mute.
When we get to questions, I will unmute everyone so that conversation can
flow more freely.

If you don't have a Zoom application on your device, here is some
information about how to download it.

 

 

Here are quick instructions for downloading Zoom on your phone or tablet:

 

If you use a computer, simply visit the  <http://www.zoom.com> www.zoom.com
to "join a meeting". 

*	Again you do not have to create a Zoom account to participate in a
meeting, but you do need to download the software to your computer. There
are video tutorials and FAQs under the "Resources" tab in the top right
corner.

If you have an iPhone or iPad: 

* From the main screen, find and tap on your "App Store" icon (a blue icon,
with an odd looking A encircled).

If you have an Android phone / Tablet (Samsung and other non-Apple brands): 

* From the main screen, find and tap on your "Google Play" icon (usually
white with a colorful "play button" type triangle on it).

- On either device, you should now be in your app store, where you can
download website applications.
- Once you are in, use the search bar (or spyglass icon) to type in Zoom. 
- The Zoom app is free to download and use. 
- You will be asked for your Apple ID password or Google password to approve
the download.

- Once you have the app downloaded, you can "attend" the meeting, or any
other meeting via Zoom in the future, by clicking on the link sent to you.

 

NOTE: Downloading is one step. Creating an account is another step. You only
need to "create an account" on Zoom if you wish to create your own meetings
using Zoom.
