VOTER GUIDE DISTRIBUTION KICKOFF
FRIDAY OCTOBER 16 FROM9AM-12PM AT NEW LEAGUE OFFICE
2501 SAN PEDRO BLVD NE (SUITE 216)
MAKEPLANS TO PICK UP AND DELIVER TO OUR LOCAL LOCATIONS! The 2020 LWVCNMLocal Election Voter Guide will be ready to be distribute to Bernalillo County sites this Friday. We need your help.
Weather permitting, we will have tables set up outside the building with the guides, signs and delivery instructions. We will have hand sanitizer available, and will work to keep our distance. We have reserved the conference room on the 1st floor for the morning as a backup. After noon, we should be in the conference room or upstairs in the office
All locations have already been verified (Thanks to our volunteers who called this summer), so the guides are expected and welcomed. Thebundles have a band which binds them together, so they are easy to handle. Bringa pair of scissors in case you need to break open a bundle. You will be given slips with all theinformation you need, (directions, contact name, phone number). Pick up yourbundles and your “Voter Guides Here” signs, and off you go.
Teams of two can make it easier (one to drive &one to deliver), but not necessary; so grab a friend and spend the morninghelping distribute the best unbiased voter education tool available for the2020 election. PLEASE help us get theseout. We need many hands on deck for this effort. Even if you can only do a few stops, that would be great. We will be there to send you on your wayuntil noon, but if you come early you get to pickthe locations you want.
Tell all your friends and neighbors. In fact, you can take them for your friends, family and neighbors.
During the following two weeks in the lead up to the election, the guides will be available in the office until we run out. The office hours are MWF from 10am to 4pm. Phone 884-8441
VOTE411.org also has the information from the guide. Our website www.lwvcnm.org now has the entire Voter Guide online (on the General Election page) .
For those of you you have already volunteered and are patiently waiting in the wings, I thank you in advance for pitching in! We look forward to seeing you all! It has been too long!
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you so much for your interest and support,
Lani
