[Lwvcnmtopics] [LWVCNM Topics] Volunteers Needed for Voter Guide DIstribution

We will be needing volunteers to help distribute the Print Voter Guides to locations in Bernalillo County in early October. The actual date will depend on the printer, but we aim to get them into the community to coincide with the beginning of early and absentee voting. 
The upcoming consolidated local and municipal election in November includes races for mayors, city councilors, village trustees, municipal judges, school board and community college board members. There are also races for soil and water conservation and public improvement district boards, zoning districts and the flood control authority.  In addition, there a host of bond issues. Karen Wentworth and her team have been hard at work for months assembling all the information. It will be of great value to voters in our community.  

This fall, one of our members has very kindly offered her garage as a distribution hub for the guides. She lives east of UNM Hospital. We will need drivers to pick up guides and deliver them to businesses and other locations in the county who have agreed to stock our guides this year. 
If you can pitch in and deliver some guides this year, we would be most grateful for your help. Please let me know if you are interested and I will keep you updated with the specifics in the coming weeks.
