Of course, it's Election Day. But there will also be a total lunar eclipse,
a so-called "Blood Moon." According to timeanddate.com, the full eclipse
will start at 3:16am, become maximum at 3:59am, and end around 4:41am. This
doesn't include the penumbral phases that precede and follow.
So if you haven't already voted early, this is an incentive! You want to be
wide awake when you fill out your ballot!
