As a member of the League of Women Voters of Central New Mexico you may be
asked specific questions about what is allowed on elections. For example
many people think that employers are required to give employees two hours
off on election day to go vote. That's not true. Because we have extensive
early and absentee voting opportunities, the law now says employers MAY give
employees two hours off to vote on election. Employers are not required to
do so.

This is a link to the NM Election Handbook published by the New Mexico
Secretary of State's office which has the actual wording of the law in all
election-related matters.

It will come in handy.
