League of Women Voters Central New Mexico is pleased to announce a Special Author Event!

The upcoming Book Club gathering will be on Wednesday, March 27 from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM in the LWVCNM Office Conference Room, 6739 Academy Rd NE. The book is At The Precipice: New Mexico’s Changing Climate by local climate author, environmental journalist, and PBS producer Laura Paskus. We are honored to have Laura join us for what promises to be an interesting and relevant discussion during our Book Club’s first “meet the author” event.

Join Book Club coordinators Janet Kirkpatrick, Mary Mulvany, and Laura Downing for lively discussion and conversation. Bring along a “potluck” snack – something sweet or savory – to share with the group (not required, just if you have the time).

Not able to finish a book in time for a session? No Worries! Feel free to attend and follow along with the discussion. RSVP not required; just drop in.
