*LWVCNM and the Guild *present a free showing of *Ratified* at the Guild
Theater *this coming Saturday,August 2nd*. Limited seating. Doors open at

*Save the date:* *Book Club selection for September 24 meeting: *Autobiography
of Frederick Douglass. Pick any or all of the three versions he wrote:
*Narrative
of the Life of Frederick Douglass, an American Slave *(1845)*, My Bondage
and My Freedom* (1855), *The Life and Times of Frederick Douglass* (1881).

*Attention*:  Many members will be receiving renewal notices from LWVUS
during the coming weeks. We will be explaining how to renew online and in
person at our September Monthly Meeting, September 11th. *For most LWVCNM
members, their renewal date is October 1*. Therefore there is no need to
renew immediately upon receipt of the renewal notice - it is just a
reminder that renewal time is approaching.
