*The LWVCNM happy hour* is this Tuesday, *April 7* from 4 pm to 6 pm at
Quarter Celtic on Lomas and San Mateo.

*LWVCNM will have a table at *New Mexico Tech in Socorro on Wednesday, *April
8*.

*The next LWVCNM *monthly educational meeting is Thursday *April 9* at
noon. The
topic is Data Centers and Microgrids in New Mexico: Issues to Address. The
focus will be what criteria should be applied to evaluate data center and
microgrid development and which public agencies should evaluate and approve
them.  Senator Antoinette Sedillo Lopez will provide information and
options at our in-person meeting at the LWVCNM conference room and on Zoom.
An email was sent on April 1 with more information and the Zoom link. A
reminder email will be sent Wednesday April 8. See more information here

*LWVCNM members will speak* at the Estancia Valley Classical Academy on *April
16*.

*An LWVCNM member will speak* at the Albuquerque Job Corps Monday afternoon
assembly on *April 20*.

*LWVCNM will provide time keeping* for a Secretary of State candidate forum
on *April 21* in Belen.

*LWVCNM will assist students* with a voter awareness event at DATA charter
school on *April 21*.

*LWVCNM will have a table* for voter registration and education at the New
Mexico PTA convention on *April 24 and 25*.

*There will be a gubernatorial forum* in Rio Rancho on *April 28*. LWVCNM
will be the sponsor. More details coming soon.

*Save the date: *The LWVCNM annual meeting will be on *May 9* at the UNM
Continuing Education building. Registration at 9:30am. Business Meeting
10-11:30. Brunch 11:30. Guest speaker Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller at
Noon.  The Annual Meeting Newsletter will be mailed soon with specific
information about how to register and items for discussion and approval.

Industry: How Political Innovation Can Break Partisan Gridlock and Save Our
Democracy *by Katherine Gehl and Michael Porter. This book was recommended
by Bob Perls, the speaker at the February monthly meeting.
