*The LWVCNM happy hour* is today, Monday *August 3*, at 4 pm. The location
is Craft Republic.

*The next Drop-in Coffee* is scheduled for Saturday, *August 15*, from
10:00 am to noon. We invite you to join us to meet our volunteer
coordinators and learn how to make the most of your membership. At 11:00
am, we will feature a short performance by the Three Muses Performance
Collective. The Three Muses seeks to empower and uplift women’s voices and
experiences through new, rising, and experimental live performance art.

*LWVCNM will have a table *at the Valencia County Fair every day from
Monday, *August 24*, through Saturday* August 29*. The hours for each day
are still to be determined.



*NOTE: No August monthly meeting*

*LWVCNM needs volunteers for the following*. Please let people know if you
are able to help with any of these:

·       The Voter Guide team needs volunteers to help call candidates or
call places that might stock our Voter Guides. Please call or email Ellen
Kelly (505-440-8931, telbg66 at yahoo.com) if you can help with this.

·       Voter Services needs volunteers for the LWVCNM table at the
Valencia County Fair. Please call or email Jill Crawley (505-480-1354,
gogirl456 at gmail.com) or Starlyn Brown (505-720-4350, sbrown at unm.edu) if you
can help with this.

 ·       The Civic Education committee is getting increasing requests.

you’d like to be on this committee.
