[Neighbors] Morningside Park

I don't have a dog so I don't know what it takes to maintain a dog park.  With all the cutbacks, will there be adequate funding to maintain the dog park?  How do the residents who live in the condos right next to the park feel about the proposal?  Will odor be a problem?

Hello Neighbors,As many of you already know, Morningside Park in Upper NobHill has on-going issues with unwanted activity in the park on a daily basis.  At our public safety meeting in January, severalnearby residents once again spoke up about illegal drug activity, public intoxication, and overnight “camping” in this park.  One suggestion to change the “culture of use” for the park wouldbe to include a fenced “dog park” area.  I would like to get feedback from theneighborhood as to whether or not you feel this is a viable option for thisparticular park. Thank you, Susan Michie
