There is no plan being considered that would do away with theexisting playground or Farmer's Market at Morningside Park. If there is enoughinterest in a dog park section, a study would be done to … Viewmoredetermine if there is room for that option  in areas of the park that are under used bythe general public and thus, conducive to illegal activities. We are definitelyopen to other suggestions or solutions.

Jeanette, good point about the Farmers Market!  Not too enticing for food sales.  A great deal of time and money went into getting the playground equipment.  Please leave it as is.

Will there continue to be a play ground where the kids can play? I don't have a dog either and enjoy the park as it is, except for the overnight guests. 
Is the proposal to make the whole park a dog park? If so what about the Farmers Market?

Hello Neighbors,As many of you already know, Morningside Park in Upper NobHill has on-going issues with unwanted activity in the park on a daily basis.  At our public safety meeting in January, severalnearby residents once again spoke up about illegal drug activity,public intoxication, and overnight “camping” in this park.  One suggestion to change the “culture of use” for the park wouldbe to include a fenced “dog park” area.  I would like to get feedback from theneighborhood as to whether or not you feel this is a viable option for thisparticular park.
