I wish the pro-ART people would stop tearing down my signs to Stop ART. They have to go to some degree of trouble to get to them and rip them down.
This is the third time I have had to replace them.

I think many others in the opposition do also but we realize this ART plan is out of date and not in compliance with the laws. We would like to see a really good ART but this plan is not that one. As a resident who lives on the edge of Coal Ave where the bottleneck on Central will be permanently moved with displaced traffic I have to oppose this plan to preserve what is left of our community where two main arteries, Lead and Coal, cut through nice neighborhoods. We are already burdened with massive traffic problems and with this ART our communities will suffer much greater abuse, traffic, loss of homeowners moving out and general safety. No, we are not opposed to a good ART with the benefits Jitka would desire. But this plan does not deliver that, it only harms small businesses on Central and the long established neighborhoods along Coal and Lead. I hear none of the supporters of this ART even mentioning that they are aware of the lack of an environmental impact study of this ART or are considering the negative impacts ART will have on our communities.

I think some who oppose ART never take public transportation and fail to realize how broken the current system is.

Nob Hill is in serious decline and many businesses struggle to stay alive. ART will expand sidewalks, slow traffic and make nob hill a shoppers, eaters, visitors paradise.

Lot of people support this project, but are not as loud as the opposition who litters the neighborhood with their pathetic yellow signs. Lot of people who support public transportation are also those who do not have an unlimited time and access to online venues like this server.

The city probably knew that once folks along the impacted new traffic routes through the highly dense communities would find out about it they would strongly come out against it, which they have. This key information was left out of the public presentations as non-essential. Hell and high water is is not unimportant.
