It was our choice to live near a busy social district, a school, a University, an Air Force Base and an Airport.  That choice also meant we live with all the things that come with those locations.  And we're not at all disappointed.

One of the joys of living near the campus.  We also get to hear the UNM Marching Band practicing before weekend football games.  

And, as Dennis pointed out, when the wind is coming from the South, we get to hear from Isotopes Park and get to watch the fireworks!

I've lived here for almost 30 years and this is the first time the music 

rattled the doors and windows. From 3/4 mile that's quite a feat. 

They're not going to know when they're not being good neighbors unless 

someone lets them know :)

Neighbors,

I live 3/4 mile from Johnson Field, and the music is rattling the furniture inside my house with all the doors and windows closed. Surely those of you living closer are getting a treat!

You can reach UNM Police at 277-2241. I called and was told "the officer in charge of the event will be notified".
