[Neighbors] Hummers yet?

I'm wondering if anyone can tell us what the entities are that look
a bit like little hummers, but have bodies like insects. 

I had at
least 6 of them feeding on my salvia one evening - long antenna (?),
sort of striped bodies, but LONG snots going into the salvia blooms.


What are they??
