Tandi, the attorney we have used regarding city and zoning issues is Tal Young. Perhaps we can pass around the hat for collections and hire him to work for the neighbors not the city.

> Hi All: Happy Saturday. It is coming time to renew my home insurance coverage, at a cost of about $1,000 per year. With all the weather news, I checked my existing coverage and learned that my coverage excludes flood damage. As a matter of fact, in reviewing my policy it seems that more items are excluded than are covered. Typical insurance situation. Question is: living here in Nob Hill (Solano/Lomas) what are the general thoughts as to whether flood coverage should be maintained, or is the flood risk so remote that such coverage would be a waste of money. Not sure what the additional cost would be to add flood coverage to my existing policy. Thoughts/comments appreciated. Have a great weekend. Jim

> I noticed the old motel at Central and Montclair, NE,? is vacant and it appears someone is getting that property ready for development.? Any idea? what the plans are, who is building and for whom?? Bernalillo County is looking for a place to build those tiny homes for the homeless.? I read that there is a meeting planned at the Highland Theatre to discuss the project.? Why the Highland? Does that mean the SE sector is going to end up with that project?? What we don't need is more social issues to deal with. The SE already has enough problems!

The builder will hav to deal with the remedy, which my include seeking losses from the city. This mentality of "seeking forgiveness, after the fact, is easier than getting permission ", along with the continued special consideration developers receive, must be controlled.Pat, your acquiescence to the SOP is akin to collusion. A change of perspective is needed.
