*Halloween Safety Tips – All Treats and No Tricks!*

Halloween is a great holiday, with lots of costumes, candy and fun. Here
are a few safety suggestions to keep the tricks at bay and ensure only
treats:

· All children trick-or-treating should be accompanied by a
responsible adult

· Costumes should be bright and visible, and not hinder vision

· Treats should not be eaten before being inspected by parents

· Trick or treating should be enjoyed in well-lit neighborhoods and
at houses that are lit up

· Adults accompanying trick-or-treaters should carry a flashlight or
some type of portable light, as well as a cellular phone

· Drivers should be on the lookout for costumed trick-or-treaters and
use caution

· If you are passing out treats, ensure your home is well-lit and
that the path to your door is clear

· Be wary of anyone asking for money

· Don’t trick-or-treat alone and always try to go with a group

· If you see anything suspicious, call the police immediately
