If you Google 'raccoon repellents' there is lots of info about various things that are supposed to work.

No raccoon trouble that I know of for years.  I'm guessing it's the two dogs we own?  I wonder how the raccoons know.  The smell of canine waste?  Maybe some strategically placed "wolf spray" would keep them out of your yard.

2 years ago a gaze of raccoons were in my back yard and on my roof. Looked like they were trying to break in to my house cause they were all wearing masks ;)

You can call game and fish. They will come out and set traps.

It’s 1am and I was woken by the high pitched sound of animals fighting. In 35 yrs living here this had never happened. Went and turned on the outside lights and blew my kill your eardrums whistle. Next thing I see are 2 raccoons running down my ancient oak tree and off into the next yard. I fear they attacked the sweet birdies in the tree.
