[Neighbors] Raccoons

Here at the corner of Coal and Richmond every fall when our grapes get ripe they come out in packs it seems.
Our dogs go crazy hearing them up in the grape vines and on top the roof.  They run up there often to go from one side of the yard to the other.
If they are back this early it means something climate wise I fear…no food sources, no water or other predators.

2 years ago a gaze of raccoons were in my back yard and on my roof. Looked like they were trying to break in to my house cause they were all wearing masks ;)


You can call game and fish. They will come out and set traps.

It’s 1am and I was woken by the high pitched sound of animals fighting. In 35 yrs living here this had never happened. Went and turned on the outside lights and blew my kill your eardrums whistle. Next thing I see are 2 raccoons running down my ancient oak tree and off into the next yard. I fear they attacked the sweet birdies in the tree. Has anyone else ever seen humongous raccoons around here?  I live on the 300 block of Hermosa NE. Thanks.
