[Neighbors] Bugs

We have been inundated with bugs for 2 weeks.  Two years ago we treated the recently refurbished parts of the property with Borax.  The bugs are coming in through the sewer lines and under the door nearest the sewer line in the alley.

It’s been suggested that the City is cleaning the sewer lines forcing the bugs to leave. 

I’m having about a dozen bugs a day, even after having my pest control guy re-treat the property.

This is the worst I’ve seen since they re-did the storm drains on Coal/Lead.

Borax is a natural repellant, just sprinkle it in the pathways where you see the bugs and they will carry it back to the nest.

Jim,
As the weather gets warmer, some neighborhoods like ours in the older part of town we’ll see a new generation of roaches emerging from our manholes.

It is not as common for them to come all the way up into the home, so it’s not unheard of.

If you are having an issue you can request a Water Authority to come do a free roach treatment on your sewer line.
