Nob Hill friends and neighbors,

 

Your association has received the attached application for Restaurant Beer
and Wine License including Patio Service with On Premises Consumption Only,
Application No. 1160200. CABQ Alcohol Hearing Officer will hear the request
on Tuesday, August 18, 2020; see application. Comments can be submitted to
donna at cabq.gov <mailto:donna at cabq.gov>  until 5 pm on August 14.

 

When your association learns of a liquor license application our
representative contacts the applicant to gather information. We notify our
email list to gather neighborhood input. If neighbors express questions or
concerns we seek further information. We invite you to reply to all if you
have a position on this request.

*        Operators of the business: Jorge and Nancy Samaniego

*        Current and recent operations with alcohol service: The request is
for 114 Tulane Dr SE. It is not open yet because of COVID. Applicants have
an existing restaurant, same name, at 7319 4th St NW.

*        Hours of operation; although hours of operation are not generally
part of the liquor hearing they are of interest to our members: M, closed;
S, 9:30am-6pm, other days 9am-8pm

*        What measures does the applicant plan relative to security? No
private security

 

Our rep has requested a record of calls for service at the 4th Street
location from BCSO. APD has no jurisdiction. We will provide that as soon as
we receive it.

 

At 5 pm on August 12 NHNA will evaluate input received. When input is
neutral or positive we generally don't develop an association position.  If
input suggests strong concern we will call a special board meeting to
explore an association position. We will notify the email list of this
special meeting and all are welcome. We will notify the email list of the
association's action. 

 

All members of the community are free to contact the applicant and to
provide written comments to the hearing officer or attend hearings in a
personal capacity.
