[Neighbors] Application for transfer of location of liquor license to 4200 Central Ave SE

I strongly disagree; Sidewinders is a culturally vital business.  There are
very few places available to non-straight persons to socialize, and
Sidewinders has always been a safe place.  They have also caused no
disturbances, and have provided not only a way to socialize without feeling
like one is in a meat market (which is the implication I personally glean
from the seemingly derisive use of "nightclub" above), but also a much
needed performance venue for many local artists.  To compare Sidewinders to
the thankfully defunct and notoriously dangerous Imbibe is to woefully
misunderstand the nature of Renato and Michael's business, and to woefully
misunderstand the needs of an entire segment of our local community.

Incidentally, if anyone actually looks at a map, there are two private
clubs and one bar already in the immediate area.  Adding one more place
with an established history of not being disruptive to their local
neighborhood and that brings a genuinely supportive clientele to the
neighborhood can only be a bonus.
