[Neighbors] Let's Support Nob Hill Businesses

How about organizing a Neighborhood Night In! or Neighborhood Dine In!

In coordination with the NH restaurants – it could be a special menu, where any of the local restaurants that want to participate can set up a call in order and pick up for take out dinners. Maybe encouraging families to post pictures of their meals on the NH MainStreet Facebook Page or something like that. Make it fun and interactive. With the kids out of school, maybe there is a contest for the most entertaining table setting or something like that too.

I think people want to support the local restaurants, but don’t know how in these uncertain times where we are being told new information every day.

I don’t know if there is anything we can do as a community to support those staff members that are out of work do to these changes as well. Once again, I think people want to help, but don’t know what to do.

As for our senior neighbors, maybe people could volunteer to pick up meals for them as part of idea number 1.

Those are my thoughts. Thank you Board for reaching out and communicating with us.

Councilor Davis is working on loosening parking meter requirements. Jean, Skye, and other merchants are putting together promos and discounts.

Want to support Nobhill business in this time of corona virus. What about instituting Nobhill bucks whereby folks can buy bucks to use at their favorite establishment or give to friends and relatives. Wanted to buy a gift card for a neighbor to use in Nobhill and thought the Nobhill bucks might work better.
