Good point, Mark. I agree, Harvey, with NM's Historic Preservation Division, is a jewel! Anyone with any question would enjoy interacting with him.

Although I’ve had to put it off because of the pandemic, I met and took bids from quite a few. I chose Duke City for cost, care, and quality. Hopefully, we’ll be able to let them in by next summer.... If your house is a contributing part of the historic district, it’s definitely worth submitting to the state for the very generous tax credit. See the Nob Hill web site for further info. The process is lengthy right now because of Covid—expect two months—but patience will be repaid. Harvey with the State board is very helpful.
