Gary and board,I feel like as a neighborhood association we should do everything we can to support these small, local businesses that are doing their best to keep going.  Adjustments to their product line and distribution aspects are crucial to staying open and in turn employing their staff. His office will accept a position from us until 8 am Monday.In lieu of the full original email I will amend the one sentence:At noon this Sunday, Oct. 25, NHNA will evaluate input received. When input is neutral or positive we generally don’t develop an association position.  If input suggests strong concerns or directors have strong concerns we will convene the board by zoom at 5 pm that day to explore an association position. The CABQ Alcohol Hearing Officer will hear the request on October 27, 2020. Comments can be submitted to donna at cabq.gov until 5 pm on Oct. 23. When your association learns of a liquor license application our representative contacts the applicant to gather information. We pass this to our email list to gather neighborhood input.
