Special Procedures for City Council Meeting on Monday, May 17, 2021
In response to the ongoing Public Health Emergency, the City Council Meeting on Monday, May 17 at 3:00 p.m. will be held via Zoom video conference. Members of the public will have the ability to view the meeting through GOVTV on Comcast Channel 16, or to stream live on the GOVTV website at https://www.cabq.gov/culturalservices/govtv, or on YouTube at https://youtu.be/mJWws8qYNz8. The GOVTV live stream can be accessed at these addresses from most smartphones, tablets, or computers. The video recording of this and all past meetings of the City Council will also remain available for viewing at any time on the City’s website. Council Staff is available to help members of the public access pre-recorded Council meetings on-line at any time during normal business hours. Please call 505-768-3100 for assistance. APD Hosting Virtual Town Halls Throughout Albuquerque
The Albuquerque Police Department (APD) is hosting a series of virtual town halls across Albuquerque, in each of the six Area Commands, and the public is invited and encouraged to attend. These town halls are an opportunity for minority members of our community to engage in discussions with their area command officers with a goal of establishing effective lasting partnerships. Facilitators are Pastor Dave Walker and Dr. Harold Bailey. This week's meetings are:
Northeast Area Command Town Hall, Tuesday, May 18 at 5:00 p.m.
Valley Area Command, Thursday, May 20 at 5:00 p.m.

DRB, EPC and ZHE Public Hearings
The Development Review Board (DRB), Environmental Planning Commission (EPC) and Zoning Hearing Examiner (ZHE) offer functions associated with project review. Applications to these hearing bodies includes notification to property owners and neighborhood associations. A periodic check of the respective websites will also help to track proposals as they work their way through the review process.

NM Rail Runner Resumes Full Service, Including Weekends, Starting Monday, May 24
The New Mexico Rail Runner will resume pre-COVID full service, including weekend service, starting Monday, May 24. The Rail Runner reopened for limited passenger service just two months ago after nearly a year-long suspension due to the pandemic. Face masks will still be required until further notice.
