Thank you, Jana,  for participating in our board meeting August 8. In answer to your questions below:

 

Several weeks ago I scheduled the August board meeting for August 10. 

On August 1 I realized that August 10 was the ZHE evidence deadline so I had to move the board meeting up to August 8 so we could act in time to meet the evidence deadline.

I sent the new date out to our listserve in the weekly News for Hilleños that day, August 1. I put it out to the listserve again in the News for Hilleños on August 8.

I asked Urban Planning Chair Greg Weirs to put the new date in the listserve thread neighbors were using to communicate about your request which he did on August 6. 

 

Our board has ten members. We formed a quorum at the opening of the meeting with six directors.  A seventh arrived shortly after that. One director left before the vote. 

We maintained a quorum with six directors present and voting. The secretary is at work on the meeting minutes. 

 

I’m not at liberty to share directors’ personal email addresses publicly. However, they all subscribe to the listserve. As well, when someone emails theboard at nobhill-nm.com <mailto:theboard at nobhill-nm.com> , as you have, that goes to all the directors.

Hello all, 


Today I have sent some feedback to consider in regards to the meeting which took place on the 8th of August.
In reply, I would appreciate the chair board member's (who held chairs this meeting ) email addresses. I would like to take a quick opportunity to inform them of the following feedback included in this email. I am open to any comments, questions, or concerns as well. and continue conversations with those in support of our services.

The referenced meeting was proposed for 8/10 and was abruptly rescheduled to 8/8. This in mind, many residents and supporters did not have sufficient time to attend.  

 

17 of these members recorded their support via the email thread to which the board member representatives were privy to.

 

However, 6 members who were not in support of granting the conditional permit were in fact in attendance, are the same members shown on the email thread.   

 

 

 

 

I am also writing this email to get your letter reconsidered

 

In short, I would like to ask the following questions : 
- How would I be able to obtain a copy of the official notes for this meeting. 
-How many members were needed to have a quorum for this meeting? 

 

(My concern lies in the fact that one member exited as soon as the meeting had commenced.)
