Hello all, In response to the density, troubles of cannabis, and my history
on Facebook feedback.
Over 6 years I opened my shop in the commercial strip part of the city
Route 66, 4012 Central Ave se., along Central are local bars, restaurants,
night clubs literally next or above one another, both sides of the streets,
serving liquor products plus food products. Coming from a business owner's
perspective we are simply adding more products -Not adding another shop to
the area. Whereas, what I'm seeing here is objections to our local herbal
shops' addition of products from a few members.
Not everyone is in favor of alcohol or cannabis I understand.
My herb shop intends to sell a variety of herbs, plus CBD products, which
is a cannabis plant, NOT containing high levels of THC, which has been
legal to sell for quite some time, before I opened my shop. As for my
Facebook which shows, YES I do support natural herbs, as well as cannabis
with the overall goal being in time to build non alcohol environments.
As to the people that use these alternative herbs and alcohol: some users
do not know how to control their intake and while we do not promote or deny
this, I do feel that CANNABIS is not the underlying issue here.., the USER
is., solely responsible for these types of issues (ex.,driving
intoxicated)., as with in alcohol or any other type of herb or (drug) as
some would call them.
I do appreciate your concerns., as we are also concerned about the well
being of those and always reiterate that each user has full responsibility
of doing their own research., while we continue to educate and encourage
the community to ALWAYS start slowly.
Our plan is to serve those that are in favor of us growing as an
Alternative Herb Shop (established since 2016)and not as another cannabis
store opening.
I do not compare my herb shop to other cannabis or herb shops. We are not
the same, we do not carry the same types of products, we all have different
aspirations, and ways of serving the holistic consumer.
We have attached some research that you made read at your leisure. It
consists of the benefits of cannabis products being sold in numerous states
as well as addresses many of the objections voiced. All in all showing
considerable evidence that does not support any correlation between crime
rates and cannabis sales, as to hopefully alleviate some concerns.
Thanks again,
Jana Quintero
