[Neighbors] Property at Silver and Wellesley

Hello All,
I do support affordable multifamily developments, in general. However, I
have significant concerns regarding any multifamily development at this
particular property.
Any multifamily development at this site must include enough parking ON THE
PROPERTY to accommodate ALL reasonably potential drivers. Basically, this
means at least 2 spaces per unit.
Also, as we all know, the recent multifamily developments within our
immediate and adjacent neighborhoods have overtly violated
elevation/height restrictions. These excesses were and are
premeditated with based on the past lack of enforcement of existing code
restrictions. Multistory units are, theoretically and potentially, more
energy efficient and environmentally sustainable. However, there must me
absolute consideration of the impact on the social/cultural environment
that makes Nob Hill the neighborhood that we all cherish. Don't be swayed
by any deprecating and smarmy rhetoric presented by developers and their
bureaucratic enablers.
Keep in mind that their ultimate goal is profit and not our well-being or
that of their intended clientele.
We've seen this played out time and again in our neighborhoods. Be vigilant.
Cheers,
Sam
