[Neighbors] Monte Vista Medians Reveal on Monday at 2:00

The rise in crashes on Monte Vista are probably from Campus to Girard due to back in parking. 
And on Richmond too.
The line of sight necessary for safe crossing at intersections is severely obscured on Monte Vista and for others they are having to avoid drivers forced to make unnatural driving maneuvers.

New Landscaped Medians will Improve Monte Vista Blvd.
ALBUQUERQUE – On Monday, December 18, City Councilor Pat Davis and the Department of Municipal Development will showcase plans to beautify Monte Vista Boulevard from Lomas to Campus. The 11 new medians will also help make Monte Vista safer for 5,700 cars that travel through the neighborhood daily.
According to the City’s High Fatal and Injury Network map developed for Vision Zero, portions of Monte Vista are above the regional average for severe crashes. Along with the 11 new 200-foot long medians, Monte Vista will get a new bike line, left turn lanes, and more. These changes will make the
