The owner retired, and did sell the business to someone who is supposedly opening up a new restaurant. We were so sad to see them go as it's been our go to place to celebrate life's milestones for the last 20 years. Food and service was always fantastic. someone said that the same people on Mykonos on Eubank, but I'm not sure if that's accurate.

Does anyone know what's up with Yanni's?

I last ate there in November, was out of town for a while, then went back last night.  Plastic on windows, phone seems to be disconnected.  Tried to google for info, but nothing there about closing.

Sad if another long time Nob Hill business is gone.  Please, hope it doesn't get replaced by another dope shop!
