[Neighbors] Tree Removal

I have been told PNM will cut trees that threaten their power lines at no charge.  It is still up to homeowners to have the cut pieces of the tree properly disposed of but this appears to be a "great service" in keeping down the cost of removing a dead tree from your property.  Can anyone else comment on this?
