I just submitted a suggestion for Nicole Rogers capital projects in our neighborhood . I think the parking on Silver between Carlisle and Amherst should be put back the way it initially was or just eliminate street parking on this block. The angled parking creates more problems and vehicles getting hit. The cut out on the corner of Carlisle and Silver has made that intersection very narrow and difficult for vehicles entering and exiting, also causing several accidents. Delivery trucks also block this street and make it difficult getting through. I would like to hear how other neighbors feel about this block and if they agree, they can also submit a request for a capital project improvement of this block. The more people requesting this, the more likely it will get done.
Thank you for considering this and hopefully make suggestions

Subject: [Neighbors] $1.5 Million to Improve District 6
Nob Hill friends and neighbors,
Each CABQ Councilor can spend $1.5 million per year on Capital Projects to improve the district.
Capital Projects are construction, rehab, or renovation of infrastructure that will be used for at least 10 years.
Councilor Rogers plans to allocate her funds using Participatory Budgeting where citizens in her district propose, evaluate, and choose the projects.
The initiative is underway, facilitated by city council staff and organized by citizens of District 6 who have volunteered.
One of those volunteers is a Hilleña who has provided this link that explains types of projects and allows you to submit ideas.
https://survey123.arcgis.com/share/9dfd9de33577422b82501db43caff1be
At the bottom it shows examples of ideas that qualify.
Proposals can be accepted until Dec. 15.
Early in the new year they will facilitate a participatory process, a vote, among citizens to choose the projects to fund.
She has offered a meetup if Hilleños or others would like. If you let me know I’ll pass that along to her and get a meetup.
If you reply to all she can follow the dialogue.
