Speaking of the Geckos in the Heights closing, Maybe KRQE could interview the owners past and present about the rent situations they are facing. I've heard from owners who gave up after receiving tremendous rent increases from the owners. It would also be interesting to see how much the owners of shuttered properties are asking.
