[Neighbors] Nob Hill's Triangle Park

Friends and Neighbors,

Last Thursday Councilor Rogers held her monthly Conversations with the community. I highly recommend you attend these if you want to hear what's going on at city council or if you want to express a position or ask her a question.

She invited Shelle Sanchez, Director of Arts and Culture, to address Triangle Park.
Dr. Sanchez said the decision on the Valentine Diner has not been made yet. However, I attended the meeting of the commission on the Rt. 66 Visitor Center July 22 where discussion by the commission indicated it is highly supportive of moving it.
Dr. Sanchez passed out the attached paper. If you have questions or positions on it please reply to all.

Councilor Rogers was clear that what happens at the park if the diner is moved is "up to us" by which, I think, she meant the community with her leadership.
She said she plans one or more charettes where we can explore the future of the park.
