I noticed last week (I live on Hermosa) and it really seems to have helped. You sometimes run across situations where it feels unfortunate to have to resort to that solution, but as a dog walker and noting the kids on that street, the speeding was unacceptable. Good on you for making this happen. BTW, I'm sensitive to this because people often use my block obnoxiously to avoid the five-way delays at Lomas, Carlisle, and Monte Vista. I've seen people do in excess of 40 on this block. Most of the families with kids have left (for this and other reasons); but it's still a threat to walkers and dogs.
