Friend and Neighbors,
The areas in the green balloons pictured here are Major Transit Areas where City Council is considering a proposal to convert the zoning of lots, including R-1, R-T, and R-ML lots.

This is part of the every-other-year update of Albuquerque’s zoning code, the Integrated Development Ordinance (IDO). We expect that City Council’s Land Use Planning and Zoning (LUPZ) Committee will consider updates in January 2026 and then send them to full council. They will be looking at 150 proposals. We have highlighted the proposals that would likely concern Nob Hill and its residents at Integrated Development Ordinance, Biennial Update 2025 » Nob Hill Neighborhood Association<https://www.nobhill-nm.com/integrated-development-ordinance-biennial-update-2025/>

Your association anticipates developing a statement of position on these proposals to submit to LUPZ. We are looking for your input. If you have questions or input, please let us know at theboard at nobhill-nm.com<mailto:theboard at nobhill-nm.com>
We will go out to our email list again before LUPZ meets and provide the email address where you can send your personal views.
